The Castle Viewpoint is the newest visitor attraction in Inverness offering fabulous 360 degree views of the Highland Capital and the surrounding scenery.

If the weather is inclement you can enjoy the beautiful views via pre-recorded, narrated drone footage in our Round Room on the ground floor. Please note due to the historic nature of the building there is no wheelchair access above the ground floor.

On your way to the top enjoy a taste of the most famous myths associated with the City. The Brahan Seer, the legendary 17th Century highland mystic, many of whose prophecies actually came true. Also learn how St Columba met and banished the monster from the River Ness thus beginning the legend of Nessie.
